WELLS' unbeaten start to the league season continued with a four-wicket win.
Stanford opened the batting and thanks mainly to Lee Knight (52) and an undefeated 57 from Ross Poulton they were able to declare on 181-9. Will Rogers (3-36), Thomas Watkins (3-45) and Jeremey Mordrick (2-23) led the Wells attack.
The visitors reply got off to a bad start, with openers Rob Marshall (5) and Rogers (4) swiftly back in the clubhouse. Rob Leiper 29, Rollins (31) and John Rees put Wells in touching distance of victory, with the latter's brilliant undefeated 87, along with Tim Jolly they struck off the winning runs.
