Ben Green is set to enter a new challenge this weekend as he will make his prototype debut in the V de V Championship 2016 in Estoril .
The 18-year-old, who has raced in both Ginetta Junior and the Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup, admitted he was relishing the opportunity to take the step up following his first taste of Ginetta's flagship racer at a test day a few weeks ago.
Green has joined the Century Motorsport team for the race in the Championship along with Porsche Carrera Cup GB Champion Euan McKay and Dutch driver Rik Breukers.
The MSA Elite Drivers Academy member said: "I'm really looking forward to having my race debut in the Ginetta G57-P2 Prototype.
"The car offers incredible amounts of grip and is completely different to drive compared to the Ginetta G55 I currently race in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup class.
"I tested the car in Donington at the Ginetta taster day, it was fairly easy to get up to speed in and I felt comfortable pushing the cars grips limitis from early on in the day."
The race takes place this Saturday and Sunday.
