East London Runners club member Jonathan Wooldridge celebrated completing his fourth marathon at the weekend.
Wooldridge took part in the Marathon des Alpes, Maritime Nice in Cannes on Sunday and recorded a time of 3.26.09.
It was the third marathon he has run this year, his second best time overall and out of 6,735 finishers he crossed the line in 1,006th position.
There was a new personal best for the club when Robert Rayworth competed in the Stebbing Remembrance Day 10-mile run and finished in 50th with a time of 1.02.21. Thomas Grimes recorded another top-three finish in race two of the Sunday Cross Country at Grovelands in Southgate.
The first lady back for the club was Amy Boorn with Chloe Millan not far behind.
But it was Ava Lee who produced the best result of the weekend as she finished first in the Velopark Clapham Chasers Womens Duathlon crossing the line in 52.30.
And further afield, club member Shaun DeSena was honeymooning with his new wife Katie in California and competed the Chrissy Field Park run in San Francisco in 26.49.
