Gator Amateur Boxing club had a strong showing at the Cheshunt boxing show last Saturday with two boxers emerging as victorious.
Both Javir Sanger and Jack Caward dominated their respective bouts.
Sanger won on points against J.Gale of the hosting club, Cheshunt, and Caward had the same outcome against N.Miah.
In the skills bouts, Kaiser Syed and Taran Raj Singh took on Hunt’s T.Cotterel and J.Hambridge.
The pair looked slick and impressive throughout.
On Sunday, the Hainault club, had three boxers competing in the National Schoolboys semi-finals at Grove Park’s T.A centre.
Chris O’Driscol defeated Kaine Finnerty of Academy Luton before his fine display was continued by Bobby Newman.
The boxer also defeated his opponent, Finchley’s Shane Murphy, on points.
And the icing on top of the cake was when Gator’s Gerald McDonagh outscored his opponent Charlie Hudson of Marvels Lane.
All three club members are now through to the National Finals.
