Essex flyweight Harvey Horn is looking to extend his unbeaten start to his professional boxing career when he takes on Hungary’s Gyulu Dodu at the O2 Arena this weekend.

The 22-year-old boxer who trains at Peacock Gym in Canning Town will be taking part in his third professional bout as part of the Frank Warren undercard in the build up to Roberto Garcia’s fight against Martin Murray.

Horn heads into this weekend in good form, having beaten Patrik Bartos in February at York Hall on points and knocked out Denis Bartos in his first professional bout at the Copper Box Arena back in December.

His opponent Dodu, meanwhile, has 16 victories to his name and lost eight times, two of which have come in his last six professional fights.

Horn signed a deal with Frank Warren last year after a successful amateur career, which saw him compete with current heavy weight world champion Anthony Joshua as part of Team GB.

The Essex fighter was part of the GB set-up for three years and has been crowned as Under 22 European Champion as well as National Champion on multiple occasions previously.
