ARSENAL striker Robin van Persie has taken a huge swipe at bitter-rivals Tottenham by branding Champions League opponents FC Twente as ‘Holland’s Spurs’.
The Gunners face former England boss Steve McClaren’s Dutch minnows in the qualifying rounds of the competition tomorrow night, and Holland striker Van Persie believes they rank down there with Spurs when it comes to European football.
He said: “It is unthinkable for us not to be in the Champions League. Twente’s equivalent in England? Tottenham!”
