WHILE he might now play for bitter rivals Arsenal, Tottenham defender Chris Gunter is pleased that Wales team-mate Aaron Ramsey will be plying his trade in the Premier League this season.
The former Cardiff youngster completed a reported £4.8million move to the Emirates this summer, and fellow teenager Gunter is expecting him to make a big impression for the Gunners.
“I'm very pleased for him," Gunter told The Sun. "I know our clubs are big rivals and it's a bit like Cardiff and Swansea but it was a great move for him.
"He definitely earned it and I think he'll be a major success there.
"I think it'll take him a few months before he has really settled in down here.
"I can appreciate how long that takes and he is a couple of years younger than me too.
"He has also gone to a big club but once he is settled, he'll force his way in to their team and do really well."
