ARSENAL'S Samir Nasri has been called up to the France squad to face Sweden after Marseille's Hatem Ben Arfa pulled out through injury.
Nasri had been ommitted from Raymond Domenech's squad after the country's disastrous Euro 2008 campaign but he has been drafted in to replace Ben Arfa, who has had to srop out with an adductor problem.
21-year-old Nasri got his Gunners career off to the perfect start by scoring the winner in the team's 1-0 opening day win over West Brom on Saturday and he could feature for his country against the Swedes in Gothenburg on Wednesday.
Arsenal's William Gallas and Gael Clichy are also in the squad.
