ARSENAL'S Norweigan defender Havard Nordtveit has joined Spanish second division side Salamanca on a loan deal.
The Gunners snapped up the young centre-back from FK Haugesund last summer and he was the club's reserve team captain last season, only for his campaign to be spoilt by injury.
Nordtveit joins fellow Arsenal youngster Pedro Botelho at Salamanca and is likely to make his competitive debut for the club in the league opener against Alaves on August 31.
