LOUGHTON Athletic Club's senior and junior members contested the final club championship track event of the season at Roding Valley fields.
The under-11 and U13 athletes ran over 600m, while the older athletes tested themselves over 800m.
The U11/U13 girls' race brought a fantastic finish, with Megan Brooks just taking first place in 2mins 32.9secs, from Anna Clark, whose time was only three tenths of a second behind.
Frida Petersen was an excellent third, in 2:40.5, with Katie Brooks fourth (2:46.4), Aland Muis fifth (2:56.2), Georgia Hammond sixth (3:10.1) and Aimee Harper seventh (3:21.0).
The U11/U13 boys' race saw Jake Harper put in a mature run to win in 2:32.5, from Daniel Teh (2:44.7) and Matthew Teh (2:50.4). Stefan Muis was fourth in 3:06.8.
Tony Babbs won the senior men's 800m race, with Cliff Warren secon and Tony Clark third, while Jean Hobbs was the comfortable winner in the senior women's section.
Craig Rogers won the U17 men's age-group from Samuel Clark. The U15 boys' event was won by Joe Halliday from Jack Clark.
