TOTTENHAM target Diego Capel has admitted he is flattered by the interest he is attracting from Barcelona.

The 20-year-old Sevilla midfielder is reported to be a summer target of Barca boss Pep Guardiola, who has stolen a march on Juande Ramos for the player's signature.

And all the evidence suggests Capel would favour a lucrative move to the Nou Camp after admitting the reports had 'filled him with pride'.

"The fact such huge teams are interested in you fills you with pride, but I’m relaxed and happy to play for Sevilla, who are a big club," Capel said.

That will come as a blow to Ramos, who has long been a fan of the youngster after seeing him develop under his gaze during his time with Sevilla and has been linked with a move for much of the summer.

Capel will make his debut appearance for Spain under new coach Vicente del Bosque in Wednesday's friendly with Denmark.
