TOTTENHAM midfielders Aaron Lennon and Tom Huddlestone played key roles in England under 21's 2-1 victory over Slovenia at Hull's KC Stadium last night.
The pair each laid on goals for Micah Richards and James Milner as England came from behind to record a morale-boosting win.
Huddlestone whipped in a cross in the 25th minute which found the head of Manchester City's Richards, drawing the hosts level after they had fallen behind.
Ten minutes later, Lennon got in on the action, setting up captain Milner for what proved to be the winner.
Huddlestone was later replaced by Fabrice Mumba on the hour, while Lennon made way for Middlesbrough's Adam Johnson on 73 minutes.
