ARSENAL forward Theo Walcott is aiming to get amongst the goals a lot more at the Emirates this season.
The 19-year-old knows it is a big year for him with the Gunners, and he is looking to vastly improve on the seven goals and five assists he got last season.
“I've been working really hard - I played every single game in pre-season and training has been going really well, too,” Walcott told sport-magazine.co.uk
“My main aim now is to start as many games as I can, and to get 15 assists and 15 goals for the season.
“But I also want to focus on my defensive duties, which means tracking back and working hard to win the ball back.
“The manager has said he wants me to be more aggressive - to run at players more, and just to be more demanding, really.
“He hasn't actually spoken to me yet about starting more games, but I'm sure as the season goes on I'll speak to him. I just have to keep playing well to keep my place - if I have a bad game, I know I may be out of the team come the next one.”
