THERE were medals galore for Eton Manor's young athletes at the Lee Valley indoor meeting.

In the girls 8-9 year group,Rhianna Buaka cleared 2.10 metres in the long jump, then went on to run 11.0 seconds for the 60m and 2mins 36secs for the 600m.

Allanah Green ran 10.2s for the 60m, and cleared 2.73m in the long jump. She also threw 4.52m in the shot. Shawna Harvey cleared 2.38m in the long jump and ran 10.4s for the 60m.

Fastest in the 60 metres was Alliah Auguste, who clocked 10s dead. She also ran 2:30 for the 600m.

Shaley Simmonds had a good day, jumping furthest in the long jump with 2.70m, then throwing the shot put furthest with 6.10m.

The girls 10-11 group saw Courtney Simmonds run 10.10s for the 60m, and also win the high jump with 1.10m. She also put the shot 4.22m.

In the same events, Dilan Aktas ran 11.10s for the 60m and threw a personal best 5.26m in the shot.

Chenean Harvey was fastest in the 60m with 10s dead, and went on to clear 0.95m in the high jump and 2.40m in the long jump.

In the same age group, Georgia Green won silver for the 60m hurdles (10.8s), 600m (1:53) and long jump, while Georgia Stanislas won the overall gold for the age group by winning her 60m (8.80m), taking second place in the 600m (2:05) and winning the shot (6.59m).

Charlie Stanislas ran the fastest 60m of the day with a PB of 8.70s. She also won the long jump with 3.70m and high jump with 1.33m.

In the girls 13 age group, Ilayda Aktas won silver for her 60m, 600m and long jump combined event.

In the boys 10-11 age group, Michael Taylor was the clubs sole representative. He won the long jump with 3.66m, was second fastest in the 60m with 9.10s, and came third in the high jump with 1.10m.

Antoni Spooner, who has several restrictions on movement, competed in the boys 12-13 age group. He ran 13.2s for the 60m, cleared 2.10m in the long jump and rounded off the day with a PB of 4.90m in the shot.
