ARSENE Wenger insists his famous football philosophy will live on long after he's gone through a number of his former players, who the Frenchman believes can develop into world class managers in their own right.
A large contingent of Wenger's former students have already gone on to manage at various levels, although admittedly with varying degrees of success.
Tony Adams is currently building a fine portfolio working in conjunction with Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth after a turbulent, brief spell in charge of Wycombe Wanderers.
Elsewhere, David Platt has enjoyed mixed fortunes with Nottingham Forest and England's Under 21's, while ex-Gunners left-back Nigel Winterburn is Blackburn Rovers' defensive coach.
And Wenger believes it won't be long until one of the makes it to the big-time in the Premier League.
“Some of my former players are very close to becoming managers in England," said the Arsenal boss.
"Nigel Winterburn is a coach at Blackburn, Steve Bould is an important academy coach here.
“There is a big satisfaction when your players become coaches and managers — you want your philosophy to survive.”
