ARSENAL striker Emmanuel Adebayor has insisted he will always put Arsenal ahead of his native Togo after revealing he does not feel valued by the national team.

Adebayor has had a number of run-ins with the Sparrow Hawks management team, with rows over bonus payments and team selections in the past.

After revealing he felt he was not being taken care of, the 24-year-old forward has insisted that he will be focusing all his attentions on his club side.

"It's like if somebody has something valuable and he doesn't want to take good care of it,” said Adebayor. “You then have someone who does want to take care of it - then you know who it belongs to.

"Arsenal are still playing in all four competitions so for me that has to come first."
