Lee Valley Lions 2
Basingstoke Buffalo 4
(ENL S2)
LEE Valley's woes continued on Saturday as they were beaten at home by the Basingstoke Buffalo.
Making another poor start with the first period being full of mistakes, the visitors were allowed to race into a 3-1 lead before the end of the first period, with Joe Berry getting on target for the Lions.
The home side tightened it up in the second period - which finished scoreless – before they went onto draw the final session 1-1.
Stas Prokofiev was on target for Lee Valley, but the hosts were unable to close the gap further as they slipped to another defeat.
The Lions will be looking to bounce back on Sunday when they travel to face the Slough Harrier Hawks.
