TOTTENHAM midfielder Luka Modric insists he is delighted to get the chance to play against his former club after Spurs were drawn in the same group as Dinamo Zagreb.
Modric moved to White Hart Lane in a £16million deal from Zagreb over the summer and the Croatia international is determined to excel against his former employers.
He said: “We were given quite a powerful group with attractive opponents and all I can say is that I'm exceptionally happy to be playing against my old club.”
Tottenham will also face striker Roman Pavlyuchenko's former club Spartak Moscow, Italians Udinese and Dutch side NEC Nijmegen in Group D.
