Teams urged to take part in Jermain Defoe Cup

The Jermain Defoe Charity Cup launches on April 10th and the operators of the cup, 6asidelondon.com’s staff were delighted to meet Jermain himself at the launch recently.

6asidelondon.com operate six aside football leagues throughout London and is starting a new six-aside league centre on Friday evenings at Woodbridge High School in Woodford.

Soccer sixes' Martyn Cannon and Joe Ross said: “We are pleased to be starting a league for the community at Woodbridge High School. We have already had a lot of interest in the new league and the league scheduled to start with two divisions of eight teams for different standards. The league will be FA affiliated and all teams will be given free kits when they join.”

All equipment is provided for the leagues and there is no entry or registration fee. Teams wishing to join the league can contact 6asidelondon.com on 0845 074 5701 or register online at www.6asidelondon.com.

As spaces are filling up, teams are advised to register quickly should they wish to join.
