CHLOE Galloway continued in her rich vein of form by winning the U15s pentathlon at the Essex Track and Field Championships on Bank Holiday Monday with a huge total of 3,007 points.

The 14-year-old Woodford Green AC with Essex Ladies athlete's winning performance followed on from her remarkable achievements at the Havering-Mayesbrook and the Herts Phoenix Open meetings, where she won five events and set personal bests in the 75m hurdles and long jump.

At the Essex Championships she won the long jump with 4.80m before going on to win the 75m hurdles in 11.8sec. She was second in the shot put, scoring a personal best of 8.05m.

She was first again in the high jump, clearing 1.60m and Galloway finished her day's work by running to victory in the 800m in 2min 32sec.

At the National Young Athletes League meeting held at Woodford on Sunday Anthony OShodi put the shot 17.98m to win the U15 boys event and record a personal best performance.

OShodi is one of the club's leading young athletes and received the Athlete of the Year award for 2005.
