ORION junior athletes took part in the second leg of the Essex Track and Field Championships at Chelmsford.
In the U13s girls 800m Lauren MacGregor finished sixth and Roseanne Ampofo came fifth in the 75m. In the boys division Alex Gordon ran well enough for fourth in his 800m race and Alvin Bonbo came sixth in the U15s 100m.
In the U17 girls events, Natalie Kipps finished seventh in the 800m and Rebecca Kipps came eigth in the 300m. In the boys division Oliver Heeks and N Underwood came sixth and seventh respectively in the 400m. Daniel Sale won the 5000m and in the veterans category John Mahon finished third in the 100m.
