ETON Manor Athletic Club had their first presentation for a Jack Petchey award.

The award went to Nelkita Akintade for all her work and effort with the coaching sessions.

Eton Manor's young athletes travelled to Dartford on Sunday for their first UKA track and field match.

Best performer for the U13 boys was Yoje Kikanka in the 800m, who won in 2:42.2seconds.

Olaolu Abiodun finished second in the B race with 3:01.7 seconds.

The two boys also teamed up for the 100m, both coming second.

In the 1500m Michael Roberts finished in third place and fourth place in the long jump.

In the boys U15s Omolulu Abiodun and Jimi Ikusika finished fourth in the 100m.

Ikusika went on to clear 1.40m in the high jump, whilst Abiodun took second place in the 80m hurdles with 14.5seconds.

In the 200m Aaron McGhann and Jamie Bahmensaah both finished third. Nick Minihane finish edfourth in both the 1500m and long jump. In the mens U17, Devon Douglas won the shot putt with 13.22m to gain a UKA Grade 4.

He also won the discus in which Phillip Chittock came third.

Stephen Madge was fourth in the triple jump and David Simosokwe finished fourth in the 800m.

In the girls U13 category Janice Kessie and Leonie Holder were second and third respectively in the 75 m.

Kessie went on to win the B 70m hurdles in 14.5 secs and Charlotte Larbie was second in the A race. In the shot putt, Leonie Holder and Elisia Lewis both came away with wins.

In the girls U15 section 100m, Felicia Davies and Barbara Solo both came third.

Davies went on to take second place in the 75m hurdles, whilst Simone Curtis finished second.

Curtis then teamed up with Kelly Chittock in the shot putt, both taking third place finishes. Chittock went on to finish third in the javelin A string and Sherma Aframa took fourth place.
