WALTHAM Forest Spitfires Basketball Club are on the lookout for new players for the upcoming season.
The team are hoping to recruit players under the age of 16 to play in the National South Conference.
The team achieved a respectable top-half finish last year and also won top prize at Leyton Orient Football Club's open basketball competition.
Players wanting to join can go to the trials beginning on Sunday May 28 from 10.30am to 1pm at Leyton Youth Centre, Crawley Road, E10 6DR. Players must have been born on or after September 1, 1990. Waltham Forest are also appealing to players to try out for the chance to represent their borough in the London Heathrow Games Basketball Competition.
Players must have been born on or after September 1 1988, live in Waltham Forest and be available to play in the Games which take place on the last weekend of June.
