THE London Borough of Redbridge Swimming Club completed a memorable victory at the third and final gala of the M25 Junior Speedo League at Harlow Pool.

Rosie Morgan and Lawrence Brown both won their 50m freestyle races with new personal best times and Grace Gillard won in the 25m breaststroke. Stephen Truong took fifth with a personal best in the boys 25m race.

Sophie Copper and Ben Jobson won their 50m backstroke events and breaststrokers Mia Oakley and Samuel Kelly both swam new personal best times finishing sixth and fifth respectively.

Emily Cole and Adam Gillard finished first and second respectively in their 50m fly races to put Redbridge amongst the front runners. Gemma Randall, Tom Beadle and Lucy Warner all took second places while Zac Ross won the 50m breaststroke in two age groups.

Swimming in the 25m fly Grace Gillard claimed her second title with a personal best, whilst Billy Dentith was second in his race.

A new personal best earnt Jessicca Skeete-Cross third place in the 50m butterfly while Carlie Dentith came second.

Anna Keble and Ben Jobson both won their races to propel Redbridge to second in the overall standings.

Mia Oakley and Samuel Kelly took sixth and second in the backstroke and Mia Newton and Kenneth Man earned fourth and second respectively in their 25m freestyle races.

Erin Robinson grabbed third in the 50m breaststroke to pull Redbridge within three points of leaders Colchester SC.

Rosie Morgan and Lawrence Brown swam the 25m fly, earning second and fifth-placed finishes.

Emma Heaseman took fifth in her 25m backstroke and Kenneth Man smashed his personal best to win the boys' race.

Redbridge finished the individual events on a high with wins for Bethany Johnson and Tom Beadle in the 50m freestyle. The U9 girls relay team of Emma Heaseman, Raye Bibb, Grace Gillard and Mia Newton won their medley event after finishing third in the freestyle.

The boys team of Kenneth Man, Billy Dentith, Stephen Truong and Morgan Brown won both their events.

The U10 girls relay team finished fifth and sixth.

The boys team of Sammuel Kelly, Shaun Merrit, Lawrence Brown and Tom Blackwell came fourth and sixth.

The U11 category saw the girls team of Erin Robinson, Gemma Randal, Jessica Skeete-Cross and Bethany Johnson take first in the freestyle and second in the medley, whilst the boys, Tom Beadle, Zac Ross, Chalrie Dentith, Aleem Kumar and Bowen, won both their races. The final U12 division saw Redbridge take two firsts and two seconds to clinch the title.

Emily Cole, Jane Porter, Anna Keble and Sophie Cooper swam for the girls team, winning the freestyle event and taking second in the medley. Adam Gillard, Jonathon Worby, Ben Jobson and Charlie Dentith won the medley and earned second in the freestyle for the boys.

The final squadron 8 x 25m relay involving both the girls and the boys saw Redbridge grab third, contributing to their overall tally of 228 points.
