WALTHAMSTOW Avenue and Pennant failed to turn possession into goals as they went down 2-0 to Crown and Manor in the Middlesex County League Premier Division last Wednesday .
Both Manor goals came early in the first half and the A's rarely threatened to score.
An Avenue team ravaged by injuries and absences managed a comfortable win against relegated Stonewall on Saturday.
Chris Parillon scored both the A's goals.
