LOUGHTON Golf Club's Reece Francis has made the Eastern Region Squad.
He will train over various weekends at the England Training Camp, Woodhall Spa.
The call-up is a reward for some fine performances.
The 15-year-old recently won the Nazeing Open over 36 holes, which was followed by victory in the U16 league for Essex, where the county beat both Surrey and Kent. Reece, who plays off scratch, was also runner-up in the East of England U16 Championships held at Kings Lynn Golf Club.
