Waltham Forest have bolstered their ranks with the signing of former Arsenal schoolboy Mbive “Peggy” Lokando.
Lokando, 22, was a regular in the Gunners’ Under 18 side but switched to Southend United after failing to force his way into contention for the reserves.
He has since had spells with Crawley Town, St Albans City, Carshalton Athletic and Leyton.
The midfielder joins from Ryman Premier Division side Billericay Town but is not expected to feature in tonight’s FA Cup replay with Ilford.
Lokando should be in the squad for Saturday’s clash with Maldon & Tiptree.
