LOCAL golfer Oliver Fisher returned to form with a 22nd place finish in the Irish Open at Adare Manor Golf Resort.
After missing the cut in his last two events in Asia, the 19-year-old fired two final rounds of 69 and 71 to leap up the table and occupy 44th place in the European Order of Merit.
Fisher found himself in trouble after finishing the first two days on three over and he survived the cut by just one shot.
But the professional from Chigwell Row rallied and a one-under par total over the four days was good enough for a share of 22nd place, nine shots behind eventual winner, Englishman Richard Finch.
Epping's Simon Khan finished joint 40th in Ireland, with a total three over score of 291 over the week.
A one-under par final round made up for shaky second and third rounds.
The pair will take their places in the field today (Thursday) at the prestigious BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, with the likes of Ernie Els, Vijay Singh and Justin Rose also in action.
