| Wanstead skipper Paul Cristofoli believes the Herons will go on the attack against Maldon |
WANSTEAD are set to launch a blitzkrieg and chase all out victory when theytake on Maldon this Saturday.
Paul Cristofoli's side are unbeaten in three and have cemented their place in the middle of Essex One.
Maldon have their eye on climbing out of the division, and have produced theresults accordingly. They sit at the summit ofthe table, level on pointswith Dagenham.
But skipper Cristofoli said: "We are going to go for it. We are not in danger of relegation so have nothing to lose. Maldon will not want to slip up as they chase promotion."
But Heron's recent record is superioras Maldon tasted defeat against the D's three games ago. Since then though they have notched up wins in each of their subsequent matches.
The lastmeeting between the two ended in 36-14 defeat for Wanstead.
Reflecting on that loss Cristofoli, added: "We have been performing well recentlybecause we have had a settled side. Unfortunatelywe have suffered a couple of injuries so that won't be the case this week."
