B's looking to sting Maldon's title hopes
BANCROFT will be looking to end a promising season on a high by wrecking Maldon's title chances.
This weekend's visitors to Hillside Avenue still remain in contention to take the top honours in Essex One, as they only remain off top spot because of Dagenham's superior points scored total.
But the visitors know a victory against the B's coupled with a slip up by the league leaders could well see them crowned champions on Saturday.
Bancroft, however, are unlikely to roll over and die and will be looking to finish what has been a vastly improved campaign with an 11th league win of the season.
Maldon will pose a real final test for the young B's though having won 15 of their 17 league matches this term, including a narrow 27-22 victory over Bancroft at the start of December.
