Ongar will look to end on a high against the champions

9:42am Friday 11th April 2008

ONGAR will be aiming to end the season on a high with a victory over runner away Essex Three Champions Runwell Wyverns.

This weekend's visitors to Love Lane have enjoyed an unbeaten campaign in the league, with one draw preventing them from having a 100 per cent winning record from their 14 matches so far this season.

Ongar themselves though have had a much improved season and only a couple of decisions in some important games has cost them a chance of promotion.

As it stands the Love Lane outfit have a complete split record with seven wins and seven defeats so far, so will be keen to secure victory to put a positive look on their final league statics.

Ongar pushed the champions close back in January after only going down 23-17, although Runwell won the other league encounter between the sides fairly convincingly back back in November at Love lane, after recording a 5-28 victory.
