AFTER a extended spell without trophies, this year'sEton Manor squad can put that righ in the Essex Senior Cup.
The London Two North outfit have battled their way to the semi-final's of the competition and are now only one game from the final.
But in their way arenational league outfit Barking, who visit the New Wilderness this weekend for the vitalclash.
Manor have seen off higher league opposition to reach this illustrious position. Ged White's sidedefeated Thurrock 26-22 in the quarter final.
National League Three side Barking were handed a bye into the last four, and so could be a little rusty and perhaps less hungry than their opponents. They lost to Rosslyn Park 32-24 in a league clash last weekend.
But as the team from the higher league, Barking must start favourites, and Manor's prospects are not helped by a injury crisis which means several first team regulars will have to watch on from the sidelines come the clash at the weekend.
Manor were also defeated in their last league match, going down 46-8 to promotion chasing Tring.
Despite these consideration coach White has confidence in his players.
He said: "Wereally want to win thiscompetition, it is important to us. If we play as well as we can do Barking will have a very tough time defeating us."
