FORMER Spurs record signing Sergei Rebrov has moved to Russian outfit Rubin Kazan.
The 33-year-old, who later played for West Ham had previously been with Dynamo Kiev, where he had returned to during the 2005-06 season following an unsuccessful spell with the Hammers that brought just two goals in 32 appearances for the Hammers.
Prior to that he had joined Tottenham for £11 million after being signed by George Graham in June 2000. But he failed to ever justify the high price tag managing in total just 16 goals in 76 games and was farmed out on-loan to Fenerbahçe after being frozen out by Glenn Hoddle.
He then moved to Upton Park for a season before returning to his homeland as a free agent to play for Dynamo Kiev.
But despite being named as Player of the Year thanks to his 14 goals in 34 matches in his first season.
He however struggled to reach such heights this season and has decided to try his luck elsewhere after agreeing a two year contract with Rubin.
