Spurs defender set for summer exit

SPURS misfit Anthony Gardner is almost certain to leave the club in the summer as boss Juande Ramos prepares to overhaul his squad, according to media reports.

The 27-year-old (pictured) is currently sidelined with an ankle injury while on loan at Everton.

But his availability has still attracted the attention of several Championship sides.

Gardner - who has made over 100 appearances for Spurs since signing from Port Vale in 2000 - last played for the north Londoners in the UEFA Cup defeat to Getafe in October.

Ramos is set to let the one-cap England star leave to the highest bidder.
