REPORTS in the media are claiming Juande Ramos will offer Tom Huddlestone to Middlesbrough in exchange for midfielder Adam Johnson.

Huddlestone has failed to make an impression under the Spaniard's new regime and with Ramos keen to strengthen what he believes to be a shaky midfield, the young Englishman appears to be first in line to make way.

Johnson is a regular in Stuart Pearce's national under-21 side and his pace and trickery on the wing is understood to have caught the eye of Ramos, according to reports in the Mirror.
