SPURS missed out on a place in Europe next season - but boss Harry Redknapp was happy with an eighth-place finish.
The Lilywhites went down 3-1 against Liverpool at Anfield on the final day of the campaign.
It meant Fulham, even though they also lost yesterday, grabbed seventh spot and a place in next season's Europa League.
Robbie Keane scored Tottenham's only goal on Merseyside.
Considering Spurs spent the early part of the season bottom, an eighth-place finish was more than satisfactory, according to Redknapp, who masterminded the turnaround.
