Spurs and Lokomotiv Moscow are believed to be in talks over a potential transfer for forward Roman Pavlyuchenko.
The Russian has long been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane, with a return to his homeland thought to be a likely scenario.
Pavlyuchenko arrived from city rivals Spartak in 2008 and has scored 42 goals for the north London side.
Any move could be dependent on the situation with Louis Saha though, with the Everton forward having today been linked with a switch to Tottenham.
