Gareth Bale could be fit for Spurs to face Manchester United tomorrow.
Harry Redknapp is confident the Welsh wide man will be able to overcome a hamstring problem in time to face Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, and could be boosted by other injury news.
Ledley King, Kyle Walker and Rafael van der Vaart could also be in contention following injury problems, but the hosts will be without England skipper Scott Parker who is suspended.
Both sides will be desperate to avoid defeat as they look to continue the chase and keep pace with Premier League leaders Manchester City.
The Blues will no doubt look on with keen interest though, as at least one of their title rivals are sure to drop points.
Spurs don’t have the best record against United however, boasting just six draws against the Red Devils since their last success in 2001.
Redknapp will want a response from his side however, following last week’s reversal at the hands of north London rivals Arsenal.
