Diarra rubbishes Spurs link

PORTSMOUTH'S Lassana Diarra has rubbished rumours that he will move to Tottenham in the summer.

Diarra, who signed for Pompey from Arsenal in January, has been a revelation under Harry Redknapp.

And, after working his way into the French national side in recent weeks, the 23-year-old (pictured) is eager to stamp his mark on Fratton Park.

"I can play every week with Portsmouth. It is a good team, proved by reaching the FA Cup Final, and that is why I'm here," he said.

"I want to win something with Portsmouth and I will be here next season."

Spurs had been linked with the defensive midfielder in January, and there were rumours circulating that boss Juande Ramos was preparing another bid in the summer.
