Spurs target happy at Rangers

TOTTENHAM target Carlos Cuellar has quelled rumours of a move to the Premier League, insisting that he is happy at current club Rangers.

Centre-back Cuellar, who has also attracted interest from Newcastle United, has a chance to win two trophies this season with Rangers - including the Scottish league title - despite missing out on the UEFA Cup, as Walter Smith's side lost 2-0 to Russians Zenit St Petersburg in Wednesday's final.

And the 26-year-old Spanish defender (pictured) is more than happy to remain at Ibrox.

"I have a contract for another three years and I am very happy with that," said Cuellar.

"I am playing at one of the biggest clubs in the country and we have a very good team.

"I can play in the Champions League every year, I have the chance of winning the league and also winning the other Scottish trophies."
