ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger believes the Gunners still have good chance of keeping midfielder Mathieu Flamini.

The Franch international is out of contract at the end of the season and there has been growing speculation that he will see out his current deal and move to Juventus in the summer.

But Wenger is keen to keep Flamini, who has been a revelation with the north London club this season, and is hopeful of getting him to sign a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.

Wengerhas made clear his priority is to keep Flamini though, disregarding any suggestions that Perrin is a target for the North London club.

"That's not true,"

"I'm not looking for any replacements for Flamini. I am first looking to keep my players together," Wenger told Arsenal TV.

"The second step, then we will see but my first intention is to keep the players I have.

"We are on course there, negotiations are going well and we hope to sort that out in April."
