MANCHESTER UNITED look to have pipped Arsenal to the signature of Cardiff City's wonderkid Aaron Ramsey.
The 17-year-old midfielder will agree terms on a £5million deal with United, despite strong interest from Arsene Wenger and Chelsea.
Wenger was thought to have been keen to bring the Welshman to the Emirates and nurture him through the youth ranks. But United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has moved quickest, opening negotiations just 24 hours after securing their 10th Premier League crown.
Ramsey has started to establish himself in Cardiff's first-team set-up this season and is tipped as a star of the future.
