JUANDE RAMOS is considering £15million bid for Blackburn Rovers star David Bentley, according to reports in The Sun.
The former Arsenal midfielder has been linked with a move away from Ewood Park after rejecting an improved offer from the club, and Ramos may swoop for the England international.
Bentley has three years left on his current contract with Blackburn, but the club's failure to qualify for Europe could prove to be a major factor, as Spurs can offer UEFA Cup action as they qualified by winning the Carling Cup.
Bentley's arrival at White Hart Lane would almost certainly spell the end for Aaron Lennon, whose future at the club is already cast in doubt as Ramos seeks to overhaul his playing staff before the start of the new campaign.

So the faded spurs are looking to replace a mini (Lennon) with a Bentley eh? No way Jose!
Athough I hope it doesnt happen, it could be that Bentley may well go over the summer, but not to a lower positioned and inferior team like Spurs.
Chelski, Man Utd and Liverpool are all interested and these are the only destinations that DB would consider. Full marks to the Chairman, board and Manager at Ewood Park for another sound season. The small town team done good again!
7th position in the Premiership - one of the top goalscorers in the league (At £3 million - what a bargain Santa Cruz is!)- crowds up by 12.5% - and we finished above the free-spending billy big pockets at Man City, Portsmouth, Spurs, Newcastle, West Ham - hell even Sunderalnd spent more than us! If bentley does go I am sure that Mark Hughes will be more than able to find a great replacement plus he is sure to unerath another couple of gems anyway! Next season looks good already - maybe 5th or even 4th are achievable with this squad and manager. Read and weep you Lilywhites...

yes wll done to blackburn for another good season but seriously Bentley will leave if the money is right and he would join spurs Blackburn are a smaller club with less chance of winning anything and not in Europe End of More a question of IF Ramos wants him and if there is competition from Liverpool
