WEST HAM players have been left fuming after they discovered they will be flying economy class to their pre-season tour in Canada, writes Craig Rodhouse.

According to a report in today's Sun the squad were led to believe by the MLS that they would be flying business class on the long-haul flight, ahead of their pre-season friendlies with the MLS All Stars and Columbus Crew. But they will now have to travel in two separate planes as the travel firm they were flying with went bust.

Half of the squad will fly out to Chicago tomorrow on one flight, whilst the rest of the squad will fly out hours later, they will then fly out to Columbus, where they will face Columbus Crew on Sunday.

The squad will then fly out to Toronto, where they will face the MLS All Stars team - which is thought to include England star David Beckham.

And many off the squad are thought to be reluctant to play the match, as it is being played on an astroturf.
