West Ham United suffered a 2-1 defeat at Wigan Athletic in the Premier League.
A superb volley from Ivan Ramis fired the hosts into the lead after just eight minutes.
Wigan extended their advantage after 47 minutes when James McArthur found the net from 15 yards.
James Tomkins headed a late goal for Sam Allardyce's side but it was no more than a consolation for them.
