Reece Oxford could be set for a temporary move away from West Ham United, with national media reports claiming he is closing in on a season-long-loan move to Borussia Monchengladbach.
Reports claim that Oxford is in Germany for advanced talks and to agree a season long loan to the Bundesliga outfit.
The England U20 international burst onto the scene at the start of the 2015/16 season, when Hammers boss Slaven Bilic handed him a start in the 2-0 win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Oxford is thought to be highly rated by West Ham, but it is understood that they want the youngster to have regular game time this season. If the move does go through, then it won’t be Oxford’s first time out on loan, as the 18-year-old spent the second half of last season with Reading in the Championship, however he was restricted to just five appearances.
