WEST HAM striker Frank Nouble says he is wiping the slate clean this season.
The Hammers shipped out Ilan, Mido and Guillermo Franco at the end of last season, giving the powerful forward the belief that he may play a more prominent role at the club, but new manager Avram Grant has brought in Victor Obinna and Freddie Piquionne this summer to bolster the front-line.
Nouble, who helped England to the final of the Under-19 European Championships this summer, admits he may have to go out on loan for first-team football. “We've brought in three or four players in my position and we've also got a new manager, so it's just a case of starting again really,” he told the club's website.
“Maybe I'll go out on loan again. I think I've acquitted myself well over the summer, going away with England and doing well. Since I've come back I've done all right, so now it's a case of continuing to do well, whether I go out on loan or stick around and get a place in the squad now and then. It's just about playing really.”
