LAST TIME AT UPTON PARK: West Ham 2 Sunderland 0 (Prem 04-02-06)
HEAD-TO-HEAD: West Ham 27, Sunderland 27, draws 19.
FORM: The Black Cats have won just twice this season and have yet to record a victory away from home, leaving them languishing just above the relegation spots.
But that does not mean they will be a pushover for the Hammers. They were only narrowly beaten by Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium earlier this month and have held their own on a number of occasions, picking up draws at Birmingham and Middlesbrough.
DANGER MAN: Striker Kenwyne Jones has scored twice in just five appearances since arriving for £6m from Southampton at the end of August. The Trinidad and Tobago international's skill and height up front may prove a worry for the West Ham defence.
FUN FACT: In 2006 Sunderland fans were surprised to see their club being sold on eBay. Bidding rose to a rather modest £10 million before the sale was removed from the wesbite. Fans not looking to shell out as much can pick up official Sunderland AFC oven gloves on the club's website for just £7.50.
PREDICTION: West Ham 2 Sunderland 1
