LAST MEETING: West Ham 1 Portsmouth 2 (Premiership, 26-12-2006)
LAST TIME AT FRATTON PARK: Portsmouth 2 West Ham 0 (Premiership, 14-10-2006)
HEAD-TO-HEAD: Pompey 13, West Ham 11, draws 3. The Hammers haven't won at Fratton Park for 15 years.
FORM: Pompey are flying in the league, despite playing the top four' sides in their opening ten games. They remain unbeaten at Fratton Park, where they have scored 11 goals in just four matches.
DANGER MAN: Benjani Mwaruwari is on fire at the moment after scoring five goals in the last three matches, including a stunning hat-trick in Pompey's 7-4 win over Reading at Fratton Park. Ex-Hammers David James and Glen Johnson will also want to put one over on their old club.
FUN FACT: Portsmouth's most recognisable fan, John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood(pictured above), changed his name by deed poll to include that of the club he loves in 1994. The famously blue-haired 44-year-old, who runs a second-hand bookshop, once said: "It's a bit Jekyll and Hyde. When I go to a local book fair, I cover up my tattoos and put on a suit. But more often than not, I end up talking to the book dealers about Pompey and it turns out they've got more tattoos than I have."
