MATCH PREVIEW: West Ham v Manchester City, Sunday, Jaunary 20, 4pm
MATCH PREVIEW
LAST MEETING: Manchester City 1
West Ham 0 (15-01-08, FA Cup third round replay)
HEAD TO HEAD: West Ham 35 wins, Man City 37 wins, 13 draws
FORM: Man City have a fantastic home record in the league this season having taken an amazing 29 points from a possible 33.
Indeed, they have been beaten only once at Eastlands - against Spurs in the Carling Cup quarter final.
That run includes Wednesday night's 1-0 victory over the Irons in the FA Cup.
DANGER MAN: Martin Petrov has been a revelation following his £4.2 million summer switch from Spanish giants Athletico Madrid.
The pacy winger (pictured) was chased by a number of leading European clubs but his move to Manchester looks to have been a master stroke by boss Sven Goran Eriksson.
The Bulgarian international can score, create and terrorise full backs.
FUN FACT: The late stand-up comedian Bernard Manning was a life long City fan.
Although he was a firm friend of Manchester United chief Sir Alex Ferguson, Manning - who died in June aged 76 - once said his epitaph would read: "I'd rather be here than Old Trafford".
The controversial master of the one-liner was also asked to leave Maine Road after offending one of the club's director and his girlfriend at a charity event for ex-City player Neil Young.
PREDICTION: Man City 1
West Ham 1
